Mr. Wormwood called the regular July meeting of the Town of Watertown Zoning Board of Appeal to order at 7:00 p.m.
Motion 6-22: Motion by Mr. Cooney, seconded by Mr. Wormwood to accept the minutes of the June 6, 2022 meeting as written and distributed.
Ayes All: Motion Carried.
PUBLIC HEARING – VARIANCE REQUEST
Livingston Moving & Storage – 21207 NYS Route 12F – Tax Map #73.20-1-7.1 – Variance Request to Install Scales. Side setback requires 30′.
Legal notice was published in the newspaper and evidence was provided that adjacent property owners were notified.
Mr. Wormwood entered into record an email to the Town Clerk dated 6/28/22 from Matthew Turcotte, 22740 Murrock Circle, next door neighbor of Livingston Moving & Storage, stating that he has no problems with this variance request (Attachment #1).
The public hearing was opened at 7:01 p.m. No one from the public wished to speak. The public hearing was closed at 7:02 p.m.
VARIANCE REQUEST
Livingston Moving & Storage – 21207 NYS Route 12F – Tax Map #73.20-1-7.1 – Variance Request to Install Scales. Side setback requires 30′.
Motion 7-22: Motion by Mr. Wormwood, seconded by Mr. Cooney to grant a side setback variance at 5 feet of the required 30 feet for Livingston Moving & Storage, 21207 NYS Route 12F, Tax Map #73.20-1-7.1 to install new scales
Ayes All: Motion Carried.
Timothy Farley – 18874 US Route 11, LLC – 18874/876 US Route 11 – Tax Map #91.09-1-8.21 – Variance Request to Construct a 24′ x 32′ Two-Stall Garage. Side & Rear Setback Requires 20′. A Public Hearing Needs to be Scheduled.
Timothy Farley submitted proposed plans for the construction of a 24′ x 32′ two-stall garage at 18874/876 US Route 11. Zoning requires a 20′ side and rear setback. Discussion followed.

Motion 8-22: Motion by Mr. Wormwood, seconded by Ms. Kiernan to scheduled a public hearing on Monday, August 1, 2022 at 7:00 p.m. for Timothy Farley, 18874 US Route 11, LLC for a side and rear setback variance at 18874/876 US Route 11 for the construction of a 24′ x 32′ two-stall garage.
Ayes All: Motion Carried.
Motion 9-22: Motion by Mr. Cooney, seconded by Mr. Wormwood to adjourn the meeting at 7:10 p.m.
