Mr. Boxberger called the rescheduled August meeting of the Town of Watertown Planning Board to order at 2:00 p.m.

Motion 56-18: Motion by Mr. MacAdam, seconded by Mr. Smith to accept the minutes of the June 28, 2018 meeting as written and distributed.

Ayes All: Motion Carried.

Motion 57-18: Motion by Mr. Boxberger, seconded by Mr. Smith to reschedule the regular September meeting of the Town of Watertown Planning Board for Monday, September 10, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. due to the Labor Day Holiday.

Ayes All: Motion Carried.

SIGN PERMIT

Beam Mack – 22048 Salmon Run Mall Road – Tax Map #82.08-1-15 – Sign Permit

Dawn Cisco, NASCO Signs, presented proposed signage for Beam Mack, 22048 Salmon Run Mall Road. The plan show that the sign on I81 will be removed and a wall-mounted sign will be installed on the building facing I81. Discussion followed.

Motion 58-18: Motion by Mrs. Desormo, seconded by Mr. Boxberger to approve a 7′ 1 x 15′ 8 1/2 wall-mounted sign for Beam Mack, 22048 Salmon Run Mall Road, Tax Map #82.08-1-15 as shown on a Color Rendering prepared by Magna Sign International, Titled Volvo 4781+1 Wall Sign, signed by Dawn Cisco and dated 7/30/18 & Drawing #A3200 prepared by Magna Sign International, dated 2/9/18. The sign will be installed on the side of the building facing I81, conditional upon submission of final measurements of all signage on that side of the building being 15% or less than the total facade on the I81 side of the building.

Spirit Halloween – 21082 Pioneer Plaza Drive (formerly KMart) – Tax Map #82.11-1-69 – Sign Permit.

Sky Valerio, on behalf of Spirit Halloween, submitted proposed signage for Spirit Halloween, 21082 Pioneer Plaza Drive. This is a seasonal store which will run from approximately August 1, 2018 to December 1, 2018. Discussion followed.

Motion 59-18: Motion by Mr. MacAdam, seconded by Mr. Smith to approve signage for Spirit Halloween, 21082 Pioneer Plaza Drive, Tax Map #82.11-1-69 as shown on plans prepared by Hightech Signs, signed by Sky Valerio, dated 7/30/18. This business will run from approximately August 1, 2018 to December 1, 2018. This approval is conditional upon submission of the application fee.

LOT LINE ADJUSTMENT

Robert & Robin Kiernan – 20549 Weaver Road – Tax Map #83.15-1-92.1/Paul Grinold – 20515 Weaver Road – Tax Map #83.15-1-87 – Lot Line Adjustment.

Robin Kiernan presented preliminary plans for a lot line adjustment at 20549/20515 Weaver Road, Tax Map #83.15-1-92.1/83.15-1-87. Discussion followed.

Ms. Kiernan will have an updated survey done then come back before the board.

SITE PLAN

Matt Turcotte – Grindstone Group, LLC (formerly Livingston Moving & Storage) – 21185/187 NYS Route 12F – Tax Map #73.20-1-8.2 – Addition of 1-4 storage buildings – Site Plan.

Matt Turcotte, on behalf of Grindstone Group, LLC, presented preliminary plans for the addition of 1-4 storage buildings at 21185/187 NYS Route 12F – Tax Map #73.20-1-8.2. Discussion followed.

Mr. Turcotte needs to submit a completed application and an updated site plan. Depending on the total disturbed area, the project might be required to complete the MS4 Regulations.

If the required information is submitted to the Town Clerk by August 13, 2018, It will be referred to the Jefferson County Department of Planning for review at their August
meeting.

Motion 60-18: Motion by Mr. Boxberger, seconded by Mr. Smith to schedule a public hearing for Grindstone Group, LLC, 21185/187 NYS Route 12F for the addition of 1-4 storage building for Monday, September 10, 2018 at 7:00 p.m., conditional upon the receipt of the completed application and updated survey on or before August 13, 2018.

Ayes All: Motion Carried.

Motion 61-18: Motion by Mr. Boxberger, seconded by Mr. MacAdam to reschedule the public hearing for Superior Plus Energy Services from August 2, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. to August 6, 2018 at 3:00 p.m.

Ayes All: Motion Carried.

Motion 62-18: Motion by Mr. MacAdam, seconded by Mr. Boxberger to adjourn the meeting at 2:40 p.m.
