Councilman Desormo offered a prayer and Supervisor Bartlett led the Pledge of Allegiance.
Supervisor Bartlett opened the meeting at 7:00 PM and called for a roll of members present. All members were present except for Councilman Smith. Legal Counsel was present.
MOTION # 25
Supervisor Bartlett moved to adopt the minutes of the March 20, 2014 regular meeting.
Supervisor Bartlett opened the floor for anyone wishing to speak to the Board.
Leslie Robare talked about the 1812 run and thanked the board for their donation to last years run. She went on to tell of the runners that participated in last year’s competition. She also asked for the town to donate promotional funds to this year’s event to be held in September.. The goal is to have 812 runners which is a 20% increase from last year. They had 158 volunteers and had 27 States represented at the run.
Councilman Prosser noted that a report was required to be submitted to the town that detailed where the money from the town was used.
Supervisor Bartlett noted that he did not have a resolution prepared for tonight, but that it would be presented at the May meeting.
Supervisor Bartlett closed the floor to the people.
Supervisor Bartlett acknowledged receipt of the Town Clerk’s report and the Town of Watertown Ambulance report for the Month of March 2014.
Resolutions:
MOTION 26
WHEREAS, the Town of Watertown and Jefferson County completed a road exchange in 2013 wherein certain portions of County roads within the Town and certain portions of roads that were designated as County Roads were exchanged at the County’s request so as to eliminate portions of said roads being owned by both the Town of Watertown and Jefferson County, and
WHEREAS, it is necessary, for 911 addressing and tax mapping purposes to re-name the former County roads b name as Town Roads.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED as follows:
Former County Route 159 from the City of Watertown to US Rte 12 is to be known as Gotham Street Road.
The one block section of former County Rt. 49 (extension across from Rutland Hollow Road and NYS Rt. 126 is to be known as Rutland Hollow Road extension.
The former County Rt. 160 that runs from NYS Rt. 126 to a dead end is to be known as Slate Road.
The former County Rt. 165 which runs from the Southern intersection of NYS Rt. 11, (Watertown Center Loop Rd.). to the intersection of Co. Rte 67 and to the northern intersection of NYS Rt. 11 is to be known as Watertown Center Loop Rd.
Supervisor Bartlett offered the foregoing resolution and Councilman Rich seconded.
Councilman Prosser amended the portion which reads (The former County Rt. 160 that runs from NYS Rt. 126 to a dead end is to be known as Slate Road not Smith Road.)
Councilman Prosser amended the previous resolution and Councilman Desormo seconded the amendment.

Supervisor Bartlett discussed the inter-Municipal Agreement of the Jefferson County Storm-Water Coalition, with the Town Board members.
MOTION # 27
Supervisor Bartlett moved to pay the following abstracts as audited.
General Voucher # 83 to 83 Total $ 1,699.25
Spec. Dist. Vchr. # 21 to 21 Total $ 4,931.48
General Vouchers # 84 to 97 Total $ 7,992.70
Highway Vouchers # 68 to 83 Total $ 14,387.93
Spec. Dist. Vchrs. # 22 to 28 Total $118,286.31
Councilman Prosser seconded.

Old Business:
Supervisor Bartlett asked Mr. Maguire what the status of tree limb pickup was. Mr. Maguire stated that they had started and would be going back a second time for those that were not yet ready.

Councilman Prosser moved to adjourn the meeting at 7:19 PM. Supervisor Bartlett seconded.
