Mrs. Desormo called the rescheduled October meeting of the Town of Watertown Planning Board to order at 7:00 p.m.

Motion 71-16: Motion by Mr. Boxberger, seconded by Mr. Smith to accept the minutes of the August 29, 2016 meeting as written and distributed.

Ayes All: Motion Carried.

Motion 72-16: Motion by Mr. Smith, seconded by Mr. MacAdam to accept the minutes of the Special September 13, 2016 meeting as written and distributed.

Ayes All: Motion Carried.

PUBLIC HEARING

Calvin Marshall Rudd – 15679 County Route 64 – Tax Map #100.3-1-25.1 – 2 Lot Subdivision.

Legal notice was published in the newspaper and evidence that adjacent property owners were notified.

The public hearing was opened at 7:04 p.m.

! Glenn Ritz, 15979 County Route 64,wanted to make sure the subdivision isn’t for a housing project. Mr. Rudd stated that no houses are being built at this time. The land will be for sale. Mr. Ritz has no objections to the proposed subdivision.

The public hearing was closed at 7:05 p.m.

SIGN PERMIT

Atomic Sign Works – Furgison & Company, CPA – 18874/18876 US Route 11 – Tax Map #91.09-1-8.21 – Sign Permit.

Renee Gill, Atomic Sign Works submitted a completed application and proposed signage for Furgison & Company, 18874/18876 US Route 11, Tax Map #91.09-1-8.21. Discussion followed.

Mrs. Gill needs to submit a plot plan showing the exact placement of proposed signage meeting all setback requirements including a decorative base.

Motion 73-16: Motion by Mr. Vaas, seconded by Mr. Smith to allow Mrs. Desormo to authorize the Zoning Officer of the Town of Watertown to issue a sign permit for Furgison & Company, 18874/18876 US Route 11 upon submission of an appropriate site plan showing compliance with setback requirements and a decorative base.

Ayes All: Motion Carried.

SUBDIVISION

Calvin & Marshall Rudd – 15679 County Route 64 – Tax Map #100.3-1-25.1 – 2 Lot Subdivision.

The board reviewed the proposed plans for a 2 lot subdivision at 15679 County Route 64, Tax Map #100.3-1-25.1.

Motion 74-16: Motion by Mrs. Desormo, seconded by Mr. Boxberger to grant a 2 lot subdivision for the Estate of Marshall Rudd, 15679 County Route 64, Tax Map #100.06-1-25.1 as shown on plans prepared by William Dorr, dated 7/31/16, File #16-13. Survey dates of 7/19/16, 7/20/16, and 7/26/16. Parcel #1 will be 44.6 acres and Parcel #2 will be 2.96 acres.

Ayes All: Motion Carried.

Motion 75-16: Motion By Mr. MacAdam, seconded by Mr. Smith to adjourn the meeting at 7:17 p.m.
